Orville's Soda Can Constructions

Now this is what we call "recycling"! Orville makes biplanes out of soda cans. Actually, this biplane is a decorative windmill for your porch or yard (if you dare to put this beauty out in the weather). It has a wire hanger attached so that the biplane can turn to point into the wind. When the wind blows, the propeller spins. Before you try to make one of these at home, you should know that Orville has done some fine sheet metal work in crafting this biplane. The attention to detail is quite remarkable. CAUTION: The sharp edges on the "propeller" blades are your indication that this is not a toy for children.

Here is another of Orville's recycled wonders. This decorative windmill, made of V-8 cans, features four distinct blade systems, two each mounted on two separate counter-rotating assemblies. It has a wire hanger attached so that the windmill can turn to point into the wind. When the wind blows, the windmill spins. CAUTION: The sharp edges on the "propeller" blades are your indication that this is not a toy for children.
